A call to awareness and action
In recent years, we have become a divided people who have built mental, social, and emotional walls that are almost too high to scale. That has caused us to feel lost, out of touch, and more alone than ever. We have, in short, lost our humanity, and that has had a major impact on our mental health.
This collection of stories and poems addresses the inner thoughts of those who are dealing with the fallout from our lost humanity. In their words you will find common ground, an echo of your own fears, hurts, and desire for change. One word at a time, we can become the change that the world - and we ourselves - need. This book is meant to be a starter for the conversations and an awakening to the need for more humanity from all of us.
Before I Vote: A Nonpartisan Pledge (2016 Edition) is written in response to the current political climate. The author tackles the behavior of the candidates and how voters are responding to those candidates. Issues are discussed as well as what each candidate proposes to do to improve our country.
